Our aim is to create an experience that builds and fosters healthy lifestyles and safer communities by involving local schools and services, children’s groups, community police e.g. safer neighbourhoods, Action 21, and Warwickshire Road Safety Cycle Training Council.
Ultimately this event will grow into an annual conference where children will come together, as ambassadors of CCFC to discuss and voice their thoughts about the world they live in and the difference they want to make for the future. Children in other parts of the world will know that a group of committed children can and do make a difference to the future they are growing into. They may never meet each other but they will know that they were not left behind and that their plight was known and cared about by other children.
This event will be the catalyst for creating an educational resource whereby children in any area can learn about charity, fund raising, and entrepreneurship. Modules about health and fitness, community safety could be developed alongside.
It is the intention of this group that no community, school, or child is excluded because of lack of funding. Through the modules children will be encouraged to create and participate in fund raising activities that empower and support their growth and development.
In 3 years time we will have over 3000 children Warwickshire wide participating in this annual event and around the world we will have local communities in France, Sweden, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Israel, Ireland, and USA, taking on similar events at the same time.
